Membership Information

Pinebrook Golf & Country Club is recognized as one of Calgary's premier private golf courses. Pinebrook endeavors to be the "best Members golf club in Calgary". Renowned for its friendliness, Pinebrook has created a feel "at home" atmosphere for its Members and their guests from their first visit. The energetic Golf Shop, Clubhouse and Grounds staff all strive to give the club a 'family' atmosphere.

Pinebrook is financially stable, owned by 500 Shareholders, with an elected Board of Directors ensuring fiscal responsibility and understanding Members' needs. Volunteer committees assume responsibility for the overall smooth running of everything from the clubhouse to the many tournaments enjoyed by Members.

Pinebrook boasts the finest practice facilities in the city. Members have the use of a full size driving range with a grass practice tee and bunkers. In addition there is a double size chipping green with sand bunkers and three bent grass putting greens. Use of these amenities is included in the annual dues.

We are located in the rolling foothills at 101st Street West and Lower Springbank Road, 2 minutes west of the city limits.

Full membership requires the purchase of an equity share. Each year approximately seventeen to twenty shares, carrying full equity value, are offered for sale at a price determined by the selling Shareholders.

Upon purchase of a share, payment of an Activation Fee is required of a Primary Member only, as a condition of entitlement to golfing privileges.

To be placed on the waiting list for a share, a prospective Shareholder must pay a deposit on the Activation Fee (equal to 50% of the price of the last share sold). Once they are on the waiting list, if there are active playing privileges available, they may pay the annual membership dues and have full playing privileges. If there are no active privileges available then the prospective Shareholder may become a Wait List Golfing Social Member and have limited playing privileges until he/she purchases a share.
