Junior Group Lessons 2008 We offer Group Lessons for Juniors ages 4-15! Member and Non-Member Kids are Welcome! Members - Thursday Nights in May Non-Members - Sunday Afternoons in May Ages 4-6 - Sunday Afternoons in June Girls Club is back again this year! Sunday, May 4th is the 2008 Junior Information Night! Please contact Luke Workman for more information! JUNIOR'S SECTION Pinebrook has a very active junior program for golfers up to the age of 18 for both boys and girls. The program is run by the Professional golf staff with coordination from the Junior Golf Committee. The program consists of lessons, club and interclub tournaments and weekly Thursday night games as part of Junior Night. Many of the Club’s juniors also participate in various local tours put on by other golf bodies. AGE CATEGORIES FOR JUNIOR GOLFERS Novices 7 years to 11 years Juniors 12 years to 13 years Junior Intermediates 14 years to 17 years Intermediates 18 to 24 Novices and juniors dues are the same with escalating dues for junior intermediates and intermediates. THURSDAY JUNIOR NIGHT We will be implementing junior night on every Thursday in the months of May through August. There will be lessons both formal and informal offered on these nights as well as 5 hole, 9 hole and 18 hole games for junior golfers of different levels of ability. Parents are encouraged to participate with your child(ren) and enjoy the learning experience together. Pinebrook junior golf will be offering games and lessons for golfers at various stages of ability and commitment. We are also intending to provide some dedicated targeted assistance to young lady golfers for 2008. JUNIOR INTERCLUB Pinebrook Junior girls and boys participate in an Interclub competition throughout the summer months with other private clubs. Interclubs are a great opportunity to play as a team against other clubs and experience other golf courses. Juniors interested in participating should sign up on the sheets provided on the junior bulletin board. All dates and locations of Interclub’s are in the Pinebrook Junior Manual.
